Foscarini's purpose was to create a table lamp which could reproduce washi's lightness, the paper used to create oriental lamps. Only thanks to the best skilled Murano's glassblowers' maestry and Foscarini's experience it has been possible realizing Rituals line, table lamps with diffused light. The particular blown glass structure is enriched with a striped effect, made by mold with negative decorations that are repeated on the glass surface, then hand frosted and dipped in acid to get a chalky effect. Rituals is available with a lampbase dimmer equipped, in order to adjust to taste the light according to the ambient. This particular lamp create a very private, emotional light. Version number 2 is the lowest, providing a light diffusion tought for enlightening ambients from a table. Rituals lamps support max 1x105W E27 bulbs (not included).
