Captivated by the potential of plastic, the designer Verner Panton aimed to create a comfortable chair made in one piece which could be used anywhere. Verner came into contact with Vitra in 1963: together they designed the Panton Chair, presented for the very first time in 1967 receiving numerous prizes. The classic version, here offered, is made of rigid polyurethane foam in glossy lacquer finish. Available in three colours: white, black or red.
