Looks like glass, but it isn't. Plass is the pendant lamp made of rotation molding polycarbonate and aluminium, designed by Luca Nichetto for Foscarini. The plastic innovative processing method gives the surface particular irregularities, that makes it not cold and impersonal, but similar to hand made glass. Plass, indeed, comes out from the words "plastic" and "glass". An effect emphasized by the light source, that stands out even more thanks to the available glass' colours, grey and light blue, typical of the craft works of the master glassmakers of Murano. Aside from evoking atmosphere and emotion, the colour helps to define lamp's shape, highlighting the thickness of the engravings on the surface. An items that flows between innovation and tradition, also in the enlightening group choise. Plass, indeed, is available both with single (E27) or double (E27 + GU10) light source. Plass ends itself to characterize large spaces, also developed in height, alone or in multiple compositions, thanks to the possibility to integrate a wheel with stirrup for multiple wheels. Also available with two different suspension clable lenght, standard cm 320 and in a 10m version.
