On October 2, 1921, the Milan lawyer Paolo Venini and the Venice antiques dealer Giacomo Cappellin created the “Vetri Soffiati Cappellin Venini & C.”, an ambitious initiative which the Venetian artist Vittorio Zecchin immediately joined, taking on the role of Artistic Director.
