The Amini brand was founded in 1962 by Sultan Amini as a producer of fine carpets. The company is deeply rooted in the centuries-old Afghan weaving tradition, enriched by an entrepreneurial vision.

Carpets, and woven artifacts in general, always tell a story of traditional craftsmanship and tools. Amini preserves this heritage, infusing beauty and meticulous care in every carpet it creates.

The precious Amini collections

The company has developed a production model that seamlessly combines artisanal craftsmanship with mechanical processes. Quality remains a top priority, achieved through production in Nepal, Turkey, Morocco and Afghanistan — countries with a rich weaving tradition.

Collaborations with designers and influences from the visual arts have resulted in a diverse range of fine collections, perfectly suited to any space.

The Design Icons collection transforms original works by Gio Ponti, Verner Panton, and Joe Colombo into soft wool and silk weaves. The Contemporary collection, on the other hand, takes inspiration from organic shapes and colors, featuring designs by Rodolfo Dordoni, Antonio Marras, and Elisa Ossino.

Flair and craftsmanship by Amini, on Ciat Design’s online shop

Explore a curated selection of Amini furniture carpets in our online shop, crafted to suit a variety of styles. The selection ranges from the neutral tones of the Wool&Silk carpet and the Mystique carpet, designed by Amini Studio, to the artistic flair of the Vincent I and Vincent II carpets, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s fascination with Japanese influences. The shop also features the Sorrento and Esagoni carpets, designed by Gio Ponti.
