Quaderna is Zanotta's table designed by Superstudio, the radical architecture's firm born in the 60s in Florence. Aim of Superstudio was to rewrite architecture and design's rules, freeing art of creating from that bond of functionality that, in their view, had it chained and forced, limiting its expressiveness. The seek of materials and study of shapes were ousted by new theoretical exploration of living the house, the spaces, life. In a style that we nowadays would call minimal, came out Quaderna, made with a frame in honey comb wood coated in HPL (HIgh Pressure Laminate), made of of cellulose layers impregnated with thermosetting resins, subjected to a simultaneous pressure and heat application process, to obtain a homogeneous and non-porous material. The final squared decoration is screen printed, with square side long cm 3. Quaderna is available with optional undertable. Quaderna is available in four sizes.
