An icon with a versatile and functional soul, designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her Parisian apartment in Place Saint-Sulpice. The project was first presented at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1928 and later exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1929, integrated into the collection co-created by Charlotte Perriand together with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. The swivel armchair, available in the version with 4 or 5 legs, is characterized by the backrest and seat cushion upholstered in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, with leather or fabric upholstery. The outdoor version is made of stainless steel painted with specific powder paints for outdoor use in 5 embossed colors and a particular covering in polyester yarn fabric that reproduces the aesthetics of the indoor models. Starting from 2016, the chair has undergone a major structural update which led to the achievement of Catas certifications.
