Luigi Caccia Dominioni was skilled at being continually surprising, without however being shocking. To achieve this goal, his objects often play with size and proportions, just like the Chinotto armchair. The seat, extremely padded, is lower than usual, but the high armrests and the arrangement of the backrest allow you to sit down and get up effortlessly. Once seated, you naturally assume a relaxed and at the same time elegant position, perfect for reading a book or enjoying a pleasant conversation with friends, perhaps in front of a fire lit in the fireplace.
