Patera is the pendant lamp designed by Øivind Slaatto for Louis Poulsen. A lamp with a simple design only in appearance, which hides a great design and technique work. The most precious thing is the lampshade: made of frosted white PVC, it is cut into cells which, thanks to their different inclination, shield the light source from the viewing angles above 45 degrees. Not only but cells are made so to diffuse the direct light downwards and the soft one upwards, directing and amplifying the light beams in the interested areas and fading those in the other directions. A little masterpiece of technique, which confirms once again the great Louis Poulsen caring for the functional details of its own creations. Patera is available in 3 sizes, with DALI dimmer system and with 2 light temperatures.
