The wounds caused by the Great War, when Udine was temporarily designated as the "capital", still remained evident in the surrounding area, leaving profound marks on the human, moral and economic level. It was in this scenario that Gervasoni's extraordinary story began. In 1925, Giovanni Gervasoni took command of this modest company specializing in the production of baskets and small products for the local market, together with his business partner Danilo Della Martina.
