Yasuhiko Itoh's MHC.2 bookcase reissues a 1959 prototype featuring hexagonal elements in curved wood with Canaletto walnut veneer. Its open structure allows multiple elements to be combined into a sculptural bookcase, representing a fusion of Japanese and Italian woodworking traditions.
