The story of Davide Groppi begins in the late 1980s, in a small laboratory in the Italian town of Piacenza. His works are characterized by creative independence and a personality defined by simplicity, emotion, invention, and amazement. The designer’s urge to create is driven by his desire to experiment with light, crafting unique pieces that have earned him worldwide recognition and prestigious collaborations.

In Davide Groppi’s philosophy, lamps are used as an alphabet to tell stories through the different states of light — direct, indirect, diffuse. This ability to create dreamy light experiences is what makes Davide Groppi lamps so captivating and exciting.

One of Groppi’s masterpieces is the Lightline lamps series, designed for projects that require a continuous light. A simple line that runs through the space, diffusing a dim and evocative light that fits seamlessly into both home spaces and public areas.

The famous Moon T lamp has established itself as one of lighting’s must-haves, with its handmade Japanese paper surface and impressive dimensions. A precious creation that turns the dream of owning the moon into reality.

Other works include the Compasso d’Oro-awarded Sampei floor lamp, featuring a long stem that makes this design both a pendant and a floor lamp, and the TeTaTeT table lamp, a portable light that brings its magical atmosphere everywhere.
