LC14 Tabouret Cabanon is the versatile furnishing accessory with a minimal style created in 1952 by Le Corbusier and produced by Cassina. An object that is part of the great and innovative project for the famous Cabanon, the refuge on the Côte d'Azur that the Franco-Swiss designer gave his wife for his birthday. The Cabanon (the "Cabin" in English) is a real shelter, a space of just 14 square meters designed to be a minimal indivisible housing unit. All the space is optimized according to the Modulor, the series of rules and proportions invented by Le Corbusier himself study the needs of space and livability of a tall man 1.83. Thanks to this method, everything is in the right place and also exerts more than one function: for example, the Tabouret LC14 is both a low table and a stool, equipped with comfortable slots to be easily moved and overturned. The stool is completely in solid chestnut, made by means of dovetail joints clearly visible on the corners.
