LC12 is Cassina's table designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in 1925. A piece of furniture that plays on the inversion of proportions with skill and elegance, in a continuous play of lines and volumes. The table is also called "La Roche" because it was created by the two designers for the homonymous villa located in Paris. A very important project that definitively launched Le Corbusier and his studio towards that Salon d'Automne of 1929 which would have consecrated the "Equipment intereur d'une habitation" as the purest representation of the "De Stijl" school. The table is made of a chromed steel frame, while the top is available or in wood, with finishes in canaletto walnut, natural oak, black stained, or in crystal, both in transparent and printed versions. The inversion of proportions makes the top of the maximum thickness possible, while the steel structure is made with a very narrow section, until the contrast with the thickness of the top does not affect its stability. The table La Roche LC12 presented here is the smaller and slender size, perfect as a desk or table.
