Gambetta is Cappellini's 2 seater sofa designed by Jasper Morrison. An indicative name, which highlights the ever original details of the British designer works. Feet are thin but with a wide base, a "gambetta" (small and cute leg, in italian) that ensures stability and It lightens the monolithic structure of the sofa, made of matt anthracite painted aluminium. Even the backrest has its peculiarity: a smooth curve to sustain the back, which is in contrast wih the mostly edgy frame, made of solid fir and poplar plywood panels. Padding is with polyurethane foam in different densities, whereas coating is in all the fabrics, leathers or faux leathers from Cappellini's catalogue.
