Developed in 1953 by the designers Charles and Ray Eames for their home in Los Angeles, the "Eames Coffee Table" table is characterized by a rectangular or squared top available in three finishes: santos palisander wood veneer, solid American walnut with oiled finish or Carrara marble, brushed and waxed. The top rests on a base which combines wooden legs with metal cross-struts.
