The Tulu chair is a masterpiece of innovative design that is distinguished by its unique construction process. Unlike many folding chairs, the Tulu has a thin curved metal rod that is induction welded and chrome plated. Designed by the famous designer Kazuhide Takahama for Dino Gavina (today known as Simon) company in 1968, the Tulu has become an emblem of avant-garde construction and advanced experimentation. His innovation was greeted with great enthusiasm, as the bending of the tube is replaced by smaller manufacturing processes with narrower bends.
Today, the chair has been completely re-industrialized and refined with further design improvements. The seat of the Tulu has been reinforced with a thermoformed seat and a backrest with elastic straps. In addition, it is equipped with a padded cover and zip, useful for removing and washing the cover completely. The Tulu is a guarantee of an elegant and innovative design that will last for years to come.
