Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret exhibited the first version of this table at the Salon d’Automne in Paris, in 1929, within the setting "l'Equipement Intérieur d’une Habitation". The model, which in the original sizes was presented as a desk, was revisited by Perriand in 1984 and re-edited with Cassina the following year to offer new variants in line with the needs of modernity. The essential design of the supporting structure reveals its uniqueness in the chromed treatment of the tubular steel uprights and in the colored lacquer on the laminated crosspieces. The series includes tables and low tables with a square and rectangular shape, with the paintwork available in the different colors of the Le Corbusier palette. An outdoor version is also available, only for the low tables (120x80 cm and 70x70 cm), with a stainless steel structure painted with specific powder paints for outdoor use in 5 embossed colors.
