Fronzoni '64 is Cappellini's armchair designed by Angelo G. Fronzoni. The seat is a perfect representation of the stylistic and conceptual though of its author, rationalist and convinced supporter of the famous motto by Mies van der Rohe "Less is more". His projects were made by subtraction, by the empty spaces and by the close material communication, a work that hat rejected the redundant and unnecessary in favor of matter and functionality. The armchair presented by Cappellini is made of, indeed, a squared section metallic rod frame, available white or anthracite, with upholstered with polyurethane foam cushions, coated in a very small selection of leathers or synthetic leather.
