Chester seats collection is an icon in furnishing world, a representative product of Poltrona Frau brand all over the world. Designed in 1912 by Renzo Frau, it recalls the style of the typical British Chesterfield of the twenties, with its capitonné backrest that curves on the sides creating the armrests, closed on the front side by a plissé decoration, and the seat made of a soft clean pillow with wide sizes. All the elements of Chester collectionhave the structure of seasoned beech wood, the suspension obtained thanks to hand tied steel-springs, horsehair padded seat and hand shaped horsehair armrests and backrest padding, goose down padded seat pillow. The cover and capitonné and plissé decoration are completely handmade; this makes these products absolutely peerless for style and design. Chester is proposed in armachair and 2 or 3 (with 2 or 3 cushions) seater sofa versions. Chester seats are covered with Pelle Frau® SC leather as in attached charts. The feet are available in versions: wooden spherical shaped, wooden cm. 12 tall or wooden and covered with leather. Wooden feet are available black lacquered or dark walnut painted. A matched pouf can be sold separately.
