The Banco kitchen by Molteni&C, designed by Luca Meda in 1994, represents an icon of modern design thanks to its self-supporting structure that integrates the main cooking and washing functions. The recent evolution of Banco emphasizes the contrasts in materials, favoring the shades of black and white.
A sturdy aluminum extrusion supports the thin line of the worktop, defining the horizon of the volumes. The structure appears airy and suspended, completed by floor-standing base units. In the island configuration, the structure supports the under-Banco containers. The top, with its minimal thickness, rests on the aluminum structure, concealing its solid core.
The doors are available in the following finishes: matt/gloss lacquer, special metallic lacquer and woods.
The structure is available in the following finishes: materia, dekton quartzite, silestone quartzite, natural stones and metals.
