Ardea is the Zanotta's armchair designed by Carlo Mollino in 1944 for the Minola's house. The great italianarchitect, designer, photographer and pilot has always made unique pieces than products for industrial production, that's why Zanotta's begun production only in 1994. The armchair has an unique and particular style, with enchanting and unusual lines, ensuring great comfort while catching the eyes. The armchair is made of a painted balck wooden base, whereas the inside frame is made of steel. Ardea is upholstered with self-extinguishing polyurethane foam and polyethylene fibre and the springing is guaranteed by elastic belts. The removable coating is available in four fabrics from the Zanotta's catalogue: Tibet, Teatro, Quino and Sole.
